Trojans take down Hornets

G.B. Southwest 2, G.B. Preble 1

Kaitlyn Schuurmans scored with 11 minutes remaining in the first half to break a tie and propel Southwest to the FRCC home win.

Southwest struck first with a goal by Paige Pierce. Preble tied things up shortly with its only goal of the match by Ellise Brennan.

Katie Darling had three saves in net for Preble. Toni Champion earned the win in net after recording eight saves for Southwest.
