Southwest gets Win, Tie in West Bend

WEST BEND - Green Bay Southwest won and tied in two nonconference games.

The Trojans (6-0-6) defeated West Bend East 4-1 in the first game scoring four unanswered goals after trailing 1-0.

Paige Pierce led the way scoring a goal and adding two assists, while Amber Nolle, Alexis Cumber and Ashley Zimonick each scored.

In net, Trojans goalkeeper Toni Champion made seven saves.

Game 2 was a 1-1 tie with West Bend West as Montana Thomas scored the lone Southwest goal with an assist from Pierce.

Champion made five saves in net for the Trojans.
